2015/16 Player of the Season

POTY_bannerAfter 135 games, the 2015/16 A-League regular season has come to an end, and with it, we welcome what should be a thoroughly exciting finals series to come over the next few weeks.

Before we get to that, however, it’s time for us to award our Ultimate A-League Player of the Season for 2015/16.

After each game of the regular season, our Match Reporters lodged votes (3, 2 and 1) for the players they thought performed the best on the day and, since round 1, we’ve been providing weekly updates on our Instagram channel as well as through our Round Recap articles each Monday.

Finally, though, we have our top 10!

So, let’s start with positions 10 through 6:

Our 10th to 6th place finishers in our #ALeague Player of the Season count. Stay tuned for the top 5 announcements tomorrow night!

Congratulations to all of our top 10, and to Bruno on a fantastic season that sees Melbourne City retain our Player of the Season award (after being won last season by Bruno’s teammate and 2nd place finisher this season, Aaron Mooy).

Absolutely no argument! By far and away one of the best imports that have graced the A-League. A worthy runner-up in Castro as well!
