Wellington Phoenix jumped into the top 6 with a 3-2 win over the Newcastle Jets on Sunday evening. Huysegems, Hernandez and Hicks all found the back of the net in what was a thrilling contest at the Hunter Stadium, in front of over 10,000 fans.

Heart brave the heat to beat Glory

Melbourne Heart triumphed over Perth Glory in 40 degree heat in Albury, with a 2-1 win. David Williams’ late winner was the difference for Heart for the second week in a row.
