Roar outclass Victory at AAMI Park

MELvBRIBrisbane Roar reaffirmed their premiers plate credentials on Saturday night, romping to a 3-0 win over Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park – their first win over the Victory in Melbourne since September 2008.

Liam Miller opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a shot across Nathan Coe, before Matt McKay and Dimitri Petratos added one each in a scintillating 15 minute period in the second half. Disappointingly for the home side, Adrian Leijer was on the end of a second booking in the 69th minute, and will now miss next week’s clash with Newcastle Jets.
